To be honest I hate these little things. To me they just feel so junky in the hands. But these entry level Canon’s are great for people with tiny hands/budgets. At this price point the sensor and video options make it a great deal…even more so when they fall to under 500 on the used market. I forsee a lot of extreme videos getting shot with them then - skateboarding, biking, etc…things that might normally break a camera, but at a low price like that who’d care?

Canon HV30
Hey all,
Christmas list is a bit late this year. I’ve actually received my presents (new glasses and money), but just in case anyone else out there is wanting to make my Christmas dreams come true there’s this.
It’s small, but HD. It’s Canon so I’m familiar with the controls. Underwater casings are cheaper for it. But mostly I just don’t have the funds to get one of the larger 3 Sensor cameras right now. So we’ll start with this and work up a reel. Donations or full camera accepted

Hey all,
I WILL get my hands on this camera soon
Thailand is woefully behind on their shipments of this camera and I’m looking into other avenues to secure one for myself. Can’t wait to utilize the video and take advantage of the increased ISO performance.
If you don’t know about the 5DmkII then read the review here.
